Free Lunchtime Concerts Around Toronto Feature International Performers
Each day since June 29 through July 8, more than 120 musical acts from as far away as Nairobi, Philippines, Bahamas, England, Brazil, and Tanzania have been scheduled to be in Toronto to perform at the Session. Forty-four of these groups are bringing their music to outdoor venues around the city during the ten days of the Session. Free lunchtime concerts, open to all, have been held at various sites, all within walking distance of the Convention Centre and SkyDome.
Pictured is Harmuss Brazil from South America and the Metropolitan Steel Orchestra from Washington, D.C. who performed Tuesday, July 4. A schedule of performers can be found on the Seventh-day Adventist Church's web site. |
